Cinematographer Seamus McGarvey has revealed that pre-production for Godzilla is well underway.
Filming will begin in March of next year for its May 2014.
“We start in March. March ‘til June, I think.”says McGarvey.
At this point on his side of the production, he hasn’t chosen a visual direction. “We still haven’t chosen the direction we’re going visually. I’m sort of testing next week, in fact, for that stuff.”
Godzilla is scheduled to hit theaters May 16th, 2014 in 3D.
Casting calls have been posted by 20th Century Fox through Acting Auditions for the upcoming sequel, “DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES“.
The film is in pre-production and also has a March 2013 filming start date in New Orleans.

The casting call came with a brief synopsis for the movie, teasing the center main plot about the fall of human society, but now we have some clues to what we can expect.
“Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” continues the story of how ultra-intelligent simian Caesar (Andy Serkis) presides over the fall of human civilization. After the apes break out of their facility, a virus breaks out that causes the collapse of human society. The new project is taking the story to the next level, with the apes on the path to emerge as society’s new rulers.
Dawn Of the Planet Of The Apes is set to hit theaters May 23rd, 2014.
