Hugh Jackman is currently preparing for his return as the iconic antimantium-laced mutant Logan in director Darren Aronofsky’s The Wolverine. In Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the actor revealed that he is putting on more weight than he ever has before in resuming the role, and has even sought help in training from Dwayne Johnson.
Aronofsky has reportedly told Jackman that he needs to gain an extra twenty-five pounds of muscle mass. Here is what Hugh had to say as he prepares himself for the rigors of The Wolverine:
